This photo was taken by my Wife Acacia McLean during her travels to Iceland in 2015. While she vacationed there she visited many different areas in Iceland across the country. This being one of her most favorite places, jökulsárlón glacier lagoon in southeast Iceland .
Taking a day trip on a super jeep this was one of the last and most anticipated stops on the day trip. Acacia looked forward to photographing and being in the serene presence of this unique location the entire year before her trip and it surely did not disappoint.
Acacia loves the bold unreal neon colors in the melting glaciers. and the unique black sands of the beaches there. The day she visited the sky's were mostly cloudy and overcast which made for poor clarity and photographing of the mountains in the background but the focus and photos she was able to get of the Glacier lagoons melting glaciers are unforgettable. This is definitely one of our top places to return to on our next trip there. We have a metal wall art of this hanging in our own home and I highly recommend getting this as a metal wall art, it displays breathtakingly and it compliments the photo best. This piece would look stunning as a large size and a focal point in any room, home, business or office setting. It displays beautifully as a smaller size wall art as well and would be a stunning piece for use in a bathroom, nursery ect.
